 Travel Orientation

Traveling by Car:

Take the A7 from Würzburg or the A 8 from Stuttgart or Munich to Ulm. Come off at exit 108 signposted Rothenburg/Tauber, towards the city centre Rothenburg. After 2 km you will see signs for parking, from where it is only a short walk to Hotel Rappen.

Car park 3 is recommended for Taubertal 100 runners. Parking costs 6 € per day and a parking pass can be purchased in advance and collected with your race number. You will need to pay for short term parking on arrival while you collect your pass.


Travelling by Train:

Take the train from Würzburg, Stuttgart, Nuremberg or Munich to Ansbach. Then take local trains via Steinach to Rothenburg.

From the railway station it is just a 5-minute walk to Hotel Rappen and the historical old town is also easily reachable on foot.


Travelling by Plane:

Rothenburg is 175 km from Frankfurt and Stuttgart airports, Nuremburg is only 90 km away.  


Following the Race by Car:

The famous Romantic Road follows the race route from Rothenburg to Wertheim. All checkpoints are accessible by car, so you can see the runners as they come through.
